Problémy překladu nizozemské zahradnické terminologie do češtiny

Abstract

Resumé V této diplomové práci jsem se zabývala problematikou překladu nizozemských zahradnických textů do češtiny, a to jak textů odborných a populárně naučných, tak i překlady textů právních a pragmatických. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo analyzovat různé druhy textů z oblasti zahradnictví z translatologického hlediska a vysledovat některé problematické jevy, které vznikají při recepci a překladu těchto textů. Soustředila jsem se též na vztahy ekvivalence mezi nizozemskou, latinskou a českou terminologií u názvů rostlin, zápis odborných názvů a zhodnocení vybraných textů z hlediska textové lingvistiky. První kapitola je věnována teoretickým částem z oblasti lingvistiky a translatologie vztahujícím se k dané problematice a je založena převážně na rešerši literárních pramenů. Dále jsem se zabývala vybranými překladatelskými problémy, s nimiž se překladatel setkává v oblasti odborné a populárně naučné literatury. Prvním problémem byly nomenklaturní názvy, jednotlivé botanické kategorie a pravidla pro zápis názvů rostlin, jakožto specifická část zahradnické terminologie. Ze srovnání názvů rostlin v odborných publikacích vyplývá, že způsob zapisování těchto názvů je shodný v obou jazycích a odpovídá mezinárodním pravidlům. In this diploma thesis I concerned myself with translations of Dutch horticultural texts into Czech language, both professional and popular-science texts, as wel as legislative and pragmatic. The aim of my thesis was to analyse different kinds of horticultural texts from translatological point of view and to find out some problematic phenomena, which arise by the reception and translation of these texts. I concentrated also on relations of equivalence between Dutch, Latin and Czech terminology by the names of plants, writing of the scientific names and evaluation of selected texts in terms of text linguistics. First chapter is devoted to teoretical parts of linguistics and translatology related to this problematic and it is mainly based on research of literary sources. Further I concerned myself with some translatological problems, which a translator meets in the area of professional and popular-science literature. First of them was the problem of nomanclatural names, individual botanical categories and rules for writing of the names of plants.
