Konzentrationslager als Thema der deutschen Literatur

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá tématem nacistických koncentračních táborů v německé literatuře. Na začátku práce bude popsané historické pozadí a nejdůležitější data a události z historie koncentračních táborů. Následovat bude všeobecný popis tématu v německé literatuře a postoj společnosti v poválečném období. V poslední kapitole budou podrobně rozebraná tři díla s tématem koncentračních táborů a to z každého literárního žánru. Z dramy to bude Přeličeni od Petra Weissa dál báseň Fuga smrti od Paula Celana a nakonec román Nahy mezi vlky od Bruna Apitza. Kromě interpretace děl bude pro jejich lepší pochopení kladen důraz také na život autorů. Hlavním předmětem práce bude přiblížit téma koncentračních táborů v německé literatuře, historické souvislosti a postoj společnosti k tomuto tématu v poválečném období. This thesis deals with the topic of the Nazi concentration camps in German literature. At the beginning of the work the historical background and the most important dates and events from the history of the concentration camps will be described. It will be continued by the general description of the topic in German literature and the attitude of society in the postwar period. In the last chapter three works with the theme of concentration camps from every literary genre will be analysed in detail. From drama it will be The trial by Peter Weiss, then the poem Death Fugue by Paul Celan and finally the novel Naked among Wolves by Bruno Apitz. Apart of the interpretations of works the emphasis will be put on the lives of the authors, for better understanding. The main subject of this thesis will be to approach the topic of concentration camps in German literature, historical background and attitude to this topic in the postwar period.
