Abstract

Tato práce je věnována životu jednoho z největších houslistů 19. století. Osoba Josepha Joachima je zkoumána z různých úhlů pohledu stejně jako jeho kompozice a spolupráce s různými skladateli, kteří pro něj komponovali. Dalším aspektem této práce je houslová škola, kterou napsal se svým asistentem Andreasem Moserem. Zde můžeme vidět jeho pedagogickou činnost, ale i vyjímečnou hudební estetiku a způsob interpretace. Právě díky jeho novému přístupu k interpretaci byl jedním z nejdůležitějších hudebníků 19. století. Cílem této práce je zachytit portrét osobnosti Josepha Joachima v dobovém kontextu.

This thesis is a study of one of the greatest violinists of the 19th century, Joseph Joachim. The person, his compositions and the collaboration between himself and the many composers that composed for him will be examined from a variety of perspectives. In addition, the violin school that he created with his assistant Andreas Moser will be analysed. Here we will see his pedagogic actions, as well as his music aesthetics and his method of interpretation. In particular it is this, his ground-breaking new interpretation that makes him to be one of the most important musicians of his time. The goal of the thesis is to show a portrait of Joseph Joachim in the context of music history.
