Abstract

Diplomová práce Židovská komunita v Benátkách a její vliv na vývoj knihtisku v 16. století pojednává o vzniku a vývoji židovské komunity v Benátkách a utváření prvního ghetta. Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je vývoj židovského knihtisku v Benátkách v 16. století a jeho vliv na tamní komunitu. Druhá část této práce je věnována Danielu Bombergovi, jeho tiskům a židovským spolupracovníkům. Třetí část se zabývá cenzurou knihtisku v 16. století a menšími tiskařskými dílnami, které fungovaly v Benátkách na konci 16. století.

Diploma thesis The Jewish Community in Venice and Its Influence on the Print Development in the 16th Century deals with the origin and the development of the Jewish community in Venice and with the creation of the first ghetto. The main topic of this diploma thesis is the development of the Jewish printing in Venice in the 16th century and its influence on the Jewish community. The second part of this work deals with Daniel Bomberg, his prints and his Jewish colleagues. The third part focuses on the censorship of printing in the 16th century and on minor printing workshops in Venice in the end of the 16th century.
