Obraz dubu ve slovanských společnostech

Abstract

Práce popisuje kultovní vztah ke stromům, zejména dubu, u předkřesťanských kultur. Na bázi rozsáhlé excerpce pramenů charakterizuje místo pohanských Slovanů v kontextu soudobého evropského kulturního prostoru. Popisuje obřady spojené s uctíváním dubu, zmiňuje léčivé vlastnosti připisované dubu a funkci dubu v mýtech o stvoření u různých indoevropských a ugrofinských etnik. Část věnovaná novodobému pohledu na stromy zpracovává vývoj vztahu člověka ke stromům, zmiňuje formy legislativních předpisů týkajících se stromů a v závěru charakterizuje podíl krize vztahu člověka ke stromu na celkové mravní krizi současné společnosti.

This thesis describes an iconic relationship to trees, especially oak, in the pre-Christian culture area. On the basis of wide excerpts the thesis characterizes the situation of pagan Slavs in the context of contemporary European cultural space. It describes the worship ceremonies of the oak, healing properties attributed to the oak and oak's feature in the myths creation of Indo-European and Finno-Ugric ethnic groups. The chapter of the current relationship man - tree concerns the development of this relationship, mentions the legislative acts relating to the trees and in the conclusion characterizes the role of the crisis of relationship man - tree to the overall moral crisis of the modern society.
