Počátky senzacechtivého tisku v českých zemích

Abstract

Diplomová práce "Počátky senzacechtivého tisku v českých zemích" pojednává o začátcích tohoto typu tisku na našem území. Mapuje jak jeho vznik, tak i charakter. Snaží se charakterizovat bulvár jako takový, jeho vývoj v krajinách, které významně ovlivnily vývoj žurnalistiky na našem území, a také jeho postupné pronikání do běžného života. Na pozadí tehdejší doby poukazuje na podmínky, za kterých se bulvár na území České republiky vytvářel, co mu předcházelo a jakým směrem se ubíral. Mapuje také soudobé reakce na nový typ žurnalistiky a její vývoj. Na základě typických znaků současných bulvárních novin poukazuje na tehdejší charakter senzacechtivého tisku. Zaobírá se také postupným pronikáním slova bulvár do českého jazyka, historií kolportérství a vývojem jak českého národního povědomí, tak i vývojem českého tisku tehdejší doby, zejména bulvárního. Při jeho charakterizování používá jak kvantitativní analýzu, tak i poznatky ze studia populárního tisku ve světě. Rozborem tehdejších novin se určují základní rozdílnosti mezi seriózním a neseriózním tiskem. Zaměřujeme se jak na obsah, tak i uspořádání a grafickou úpravu. Práce je uceleným obrazem doby, kdy se na českém území objevily první bulvární periodické noviny a poukazuje na jejich vlastnosti a zaměření.

The Diploma thesis "The beginnings of popular press in Czech countries" deals with the start of tabloid press in our land. The thesis monitors both the beginning and the main characteristics of the popular press. It tries to characterize tabloid press as such, its development in countries which influenced progress of journalism in our country and also the progressinfiltration of these kinds of newspapers to ordinary lives. At the background of the past periods the thesis tries to point out the conditions the Czech tabloid press was formed from, to point out its predecessors and the way its development took. The thesis also includes the contemporaries' reactions of that kind of press. Through the typical characteristics of current tabloid papers, it shows the characteristics of the past sensational newspapers. The thesis also works with the development of the word the tabloid press and the history of its usage in the Czech language, with the history of street selling, with the development of Czech national awareness and with the progress of Czech journalism, especially tabloid one. To characterize it, we used both the quantitative method and the information from studies of the popular press in the world.
