Důstojnost pacienta v Etickém kodexu sester a v praxi

Abstract

V předložené práci je tematizována problematika lidské důstojnosti s důrazem na zdravotnickou praxi. V teoretické části je probrána filozofická dimenze důstojnosti a její zakotvení v mezinárodní Úmluvě o biomedicíně, v národních zákonech i v etických kodexech zdravotních sester. V praktické části bylo provedeno výzkumné šetření s cílem zjistit postoj zdravotních sester a pacientů k vnímání důstojnosti pacienta v ošetřovatelské péči. Výsledné shrnutí srovnává pohled zdravotních a sester a pacientů na aspekt důstojnosti v ošetřovatelské péči . Závěrečné doporučení na změnu je určeno pedagogům, kteří se zabývají kvalifikačním vzděláváním zdravotních sester, a jejich celoživotním vzděláváním, profesním organizacím, které v České republice zastupují zdravotní sestry, manažerům, kteří vedou kolektivy na zdravotnických pracovištích, zdravotním sestrám samotným a v neposlední řadě pacientům.

In proposed thesis is thematized the problematic of human dignity with accent on medical use. In theoretical part is treated philosophical dimension of dignity and its embodiment in the international Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine, in national laws as well in ethical codices of nurses. In practical part was provided the research with aim to examine the attitude of the nurses and the patients themselves on evidence of patients dignity in nursing. Resulting summary compares the points of view of the nurses and the patients on dignity in nursing. Final recommandation for the change of current situation is adressed to the pedagogues engaged in qualifying education of nurses and lifelong learning, to the professional associations represented in Czech Republic by nurses, to the teamleaders at medical posts, as well to nurses themselves and not at last to the patients.
