Problematika menšinových vlád v Kanadě

Abstract

Diploma thesis Minority Governments in Canada focuses on comparison of different periods of federal minority governments in canadian history. The first part of the article presented the main theories about formation of coalition governments and minority governments. The second part describes the basic characteristics of the canadian political system. Next two chapters follow the analysis of the formation, operation and termination of canadian minority governments. Sixth part of the article compares the periods of minority governments in Canada.

Diplomová práce Problematika menšinových vlád v Kanadě se zaměřuje na srovnání jednotlivých etap menšinových vlád na federální úrovni v Kanadě. V první části jsou představeny nejvýznamnější teorie týkající se formování koaličních a menšinových vlád. Druhá část práce popisuje základní prvky kanadského politického systému. Další dvě kapitoly jsou věnovány analýze vzniku, fungování a konce jednotlivých kanadských menšinových vlád. Na tomto základě je v kapitole šesté provedeno srovnání period menšinových vlád v Kanadě.
