Zakladatelská činnost řádu premonstrátů ve střední Evropě do počátku 13. století. Dceřiná založení klášterů Steinfeld a Dünnwald

Abstract

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zaobírá problematikou založení prvních premonstrátských kanonií v Čechách ve 12. století, zvláštní pozornost je přitom věnována jejich vztahu k ústřednímu klášteru v Prémontré, k premonstrátské generální kapitule a k dvěma mateřským klášterům, Steinfeldu a Dünnwaldu, v oblasti Eifel v Německu. První kapitola řeší centrální roli generální kapituly a opatství v Prémontré. Jsou zde popsány způsoby, kterými generální kapitula kontrolovala ostatní řádové domy. Sledujeme zde uspořádání řádu do poloviny 13. století. V dalším textu je pak sledována funkce cirkárií a vizitací. Druhá část se zabývá postavou zakladatele Prémontré, Norberta z Xanten, jehož život měl velký vliv na celý řád, a to i poté, co byl v roce 1126 zvolen arcibiskupem v Magdeburgu. Snažíme se zde objasnit, jakým způsobem opatství v Prémontré v čele s Hugem z Fosse zachovalo v následujících letech jednotu řádu. Pozornost je zaměřena také na ideál apoštolského života, na cura animarum, jednotu a diverzitu uvnitř řádu. Ptáme se, jakým způsobem se premonstráti šířili Evropou a jaká místa osídlovali. Následná kapitola se zbývá rolí žen v řádu a ekonomickými aspekty.

Presented diploma thesis is concerned with the foundation of the first czech premonstratensian houses in the 12th century, specially in relation to the central abbey of Prémontré, the premonstratensian general chapter and two mother houses of Steinfeld and Dünnwald in the Eifel region of Germany. The first chapter deals with the central role of the general chapter and the abbey of Prémontré. It describes the ways in which the general chapter has tried to control the other houses of the order. We can follow the contitutions of the order to the half of the 13th century. In the following text we are trying to describe the function of circaries and visitations. The second part is treating the life of the founder of Prémontré - Norbert of Xanten - whose life had a very strong influence on the whole order even after he was elected archbishop of Magdeburg in the year 1126. We are trying to explain how the abbey of Prémontré and its abbot Hugo of Fosse preserved the unity of the order in the following years. We are further concerned with the ideal of apostolic life in the order and with cura animarum, unity and diversity in the order.
