Dopady nadváhy a obezity na kvalitu života jedince

Abstract

V této práci je pozornost věnována nadváze a obezitě, její situaci ve světě a v České republice, a problematice dětské obezity, konkrétně jejímu vlivu na kvalitu života jedince, ve snaze prokázat její negativní vliv na zdravotní stav celé populace. V teoretické části je obezita definována, jsou uvedeny metody měření, možnosti léčby a vývoj rozšíření s důrazem na situaci v České republice. Vliv nadváhy a obezity na člověka je analyzován na základě studií odborníků, které potvrzují, že obezita zvyšuje úmrtnost a nemocnost a její rizika se mohou zvyšovat, pokud bude prevalence dále růst. Analytická část práce vychází z dat získaných u dětí dotazníkovým šetřením a u dospělých jedinců z údajů od Mudr. R. Urbánka, odborníka na obezitu. Analýzy jsou provedeny metodou korelace a regrese. This diploma thesis addresses overweight and obesity worldwide and in the Czech Republic. It deals primarily with child obesity and investigates obesity impact on life quality of individuals. The aim of this work was to manifest a negative effect of obesity and overweight on health of the population. The theoretic part of the thesis deals with obesity definition, methods of measurement, treatment options and time trends with an emphasis on the situation in the Czech Republic. Effects of overweight and obesity on humans are analysed on the basis of expert studies. The obesity increases mortality and morbidity levels and the risk may increase if the prevalence grows. The analytical part of the work deals with the examination of survey data for children and adults. Statistical methods of correlation and regression were used for the analytical purpose.
