Abstract

Předmětem zkoumání bakalářské práce je Akciová společnost Walter, továrna na automobily a letecké motory, od sklonku třicátých do první poloviny čtyřicátých let 20. století. Práce na základě analýzy dobových archivních dokumentů a odborné literatury sleduje proměnu firmy ve čtyřech analytických řezech, a to konkrétně: právní rámec a vlastnická struktura, řízení firmy a instalace německého dozoru, výrobní program a odbyt a v neposlední řadě pracovní síla/zaměstnanci. Práce je příspěvkem k porozumění metodám ovládání a exploatace zbrojně profilovaného leteckého podniku, potažmo k porozumění podnikatelskému prostředí v Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the Walter Motor-Cars and Aero Engines Ltd., from the late 1930s to the first half of the 1940s. Based on the analysis of contemporary archival documents and specialized literature, the thesis examines the transformation of the company in four analytical sections, specifically: legal framework and ownership structure, company management and the installation of German supervision, production program and sales and last but not least workforce/employees. The thesis contributes to the understanding of the methods of control and exploitation of an armament-oriented aviation company, and consequently to the understanding of the business environment in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
