Abstract

The content of the bachelor thesis is a translation of the German chapter Lebensbühne 10 from the book Die Hollywood-Therapie and a commentary. The authors of the text are Reudiger Dahlke and Margit Dahlke. The book deals with film therapy. The aim of the work was to produce a functionally equivalent translation. The commentary passage includes a translation analysis according to Christiane Nord, then a typology of translation problems and shifts, and finally a description of the translation method.
