Role islámu v současné Evropě se zaměřením na Francii

Abstract

The thesis "The role of Islam in present Europe with a view to France" presents the general view to the dilemma of Islam immigration. This issue became more visible at the turn of the eighties and the nineties of the last century, when the figures of legal but also illegal Muslim immigrants began to increase together with demands of immigrants calling for emancipation and integration to the European society. Europe is still trying to find an acceptable form of co-existence with Muslims, which would be the compromise for both parts. Approximately 5 millions of Muslims are living today in France, which is the highest number among European countries. The target of this thesis is to describe the present state of the issue concerned and to try to find some possible solutions for the situation. The reader, in the introductory passage, gets acquainted with the historical development of the Muslim immigration, the integrations' models, depicting the ways of acceptance of foreigners to the European society in three countries with the biggest Muslim community - Germany, Great Britain and France - and the relation of the immigration policy and the legislature of the European union. Bakalářská práce "Role islámu v současné Evropě se zaměřením na Francii" představuje všeobecný pohled na problematiku islámské imigrace, která se stala viditelným problémem na přelomu 80. a 90. let 20. století, kdy se počet legálních, ale také nelegálních muslimských přistěhovalců začal zvyšovat a s tím se objevily požadavky imigrantů na zrovnoprávnění a začlenění do evropské společnosti. Evropa se stále snaží najít vhodnou formu soužití s muslimy, která by byla kompromisem pro obě strany. Ve Francii dnes žije cca 5 milionů muslimů, což je nejvyšší počet ze všech evropských států. Cílem práce je zachytit současný stav problematiky a pokusit se najít určitá řešení. V úvodní části se čtenář seznamuje s historickým vývojem muslimské imigrace, integračními modely zobrazujícími způsoby přijetí cizinců do společnosti ve třech zemích s největší muslimskou komunitou - Německo, Velká Británie a Francie - a vztahem imigrační politiky a legislativy Evropské unie. Hlavní část práce je věnována Francii a způsobu soužití s muslimsky věřícími občany v této zemi. Historický úvod se spíše soustředí na imigrační politiku země a legislativní vývoj, i v oblasti nabývání občanství.
