Lázeňské sezony ve Františkových Lázních a v Luhačovicích pohledem tzv. kurlistů v období 1913-1923

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce řeší tematiku lázeňství ve Františkových Lázních a Luhačovicích v letech 1913-1923. V prvních kapitolách teoretické části jsou stručně popsány dějiny lázeňství od starověku až po současnost. Následně je upřesněna charakteristika a vývoj každého města, není opomenuta specifikace léčebných metod a pramenů. Praktická část je zaměřena na samotné lázeňské hosty. Hlavním cílem bylo na základě archivních pramenů a za pomoci komparativní metody zjistit, zda existují rozdíly v návštěvnosti Františkových Lázní a Luhačovic z hlediska původu či pohlaví zahraničních i domácích návštěvníků. Klíčovou roli sehrály tehdejší společensko-politické události, a to především první světová válka, rozpad Rakouska-Uherska, státní převrat, jenž zapříčinil vznik Československa. Bylo zjištěno, že zmíněné události ovlivnily nejen vývoj lázeňství, ale rovněž i jeho klientelu. Klíčová slova Lázeňství, návštěvnost, Františkovy Lázně, Luhačovice, první polovina 20. století

This bachelor's thesis deals with the subject of the spa in Františkovy Lázně and Luhačovice in the years 1913-1923. In the first chapters of the theoretical part, the history of the spa from ancient times to the present is briefly described. Subsequently, the characteristics and development of each city are specified, as well as the treatment methods and healing springs. The empirical part focuses on the spa guests. The main objective was to determine, on the basis of archival sources and using a comparative method, whether there are differences in the number of visitors to Františkovy Lázně and Luhačovice in terms of the origin or gender of the international and domestic visitors. The socio-political events of that time, especially the First World War, the collapse of Austria-Hungary, and the coup d'état that led to the creation of Czechoslovakia, played a key role.
