Abstract

The topic of the diploma thesis is "The Concept of Woman: Philosophical Reflection." The purpose of this paper is to discuss the phenomenon of femininity and the position of woman not only in the world but in her own body as well. It examines the relationship between a woman and a man. Attention is focused on sameness and difference in self - concept and thinking of both genders. The primary aim is equality of rights and duties between both genders. The paper expands upon eight basic areas. The first chapter deals with woman and the mental and physical form of love. Furthermore, attention is paid to women and marriage, with attention focused on engagement, wedding ceremony and divorce. The chapter regarding women and family correlates to a high degree with the chapter about women and work, attention is focused on the traditional distribution of roles and on the distribution of work at home and outside of home. The chapter "Women and Feminism" maps the demands of that ideology. The chapter "Women for Women" points to the fact that women are not always supporting each other. The chapter "Women and Cognition" analyses the possibilities and conditions of cognition of women. Téma této diplomové práce je "Obraz ženy ve filosofické reflexi". Práce se zabývá fenoménem ženství. Pojednává o pozici ženy nejen ve světě, ale i v jejím vlastním těle. Práce řeší problematiku vztahu ženy a muže. Je zde kladen důraz na stejnost a jinakost v sebepojetí a v myšlení obou pohlaví. Cílem není boj o to, které pohlaví je lepší, ale rovnost obou pohlaví co do práv a povinností. Práce se věnuje osmi základním oblastem. První kapitola pojednává o ženě a psychické i fyzické formě lásky. Dále je pozornost věnovaná ženě a manželství, přičemž je pozornost zaměřena na žádost o ruku, svatební obřad a rozvod. Kapitola o ženě a rodině má mnoho styčných bodů s kapitolou o ženě a práci, pozornost je zaměřena na tradiční rozdělení rolí a dělbu práce v domácnosti i mimo domov. Kapitola o ženě a feminismu mapuje požadavky toho myšlenkového směru. Kapitola "Ženy ženám" poukazuje na skutečnost, že ne vždy jsou ženy podporou sobě navzájem. Kapitola o ženě a poznání analyzuje možnosti a podmínky poznání ženy. Poslední kapitola soustředí pozornost na vztah ženy k vlastnímu tělu a hodnotí dopad dnešní doby na dojem o sobě samém.
