Abstract

Title of the thesis: Evaluation of postural stability and function of deep stabilization system of the spine in dancers Author: Bc. Tereza Rothová Head of the thesis: Mgr. Michaela Stupková Year of defense: 2020 Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to assess static and dynamic postural stability and function of deep stabilization system of the spine in modern dancers and to compare the results with general population that does not perform any regular physical activity. Next to analyse the relations between postural stability and function of deep stabilization system of the spine in both groups. Method: This study is designed as observational comparative pilot study which included 16 modern dancers in experimental group and 11 women who do not perform any regular physical activity in control group. To evaluate the function of deep stabilization system of the spine a battery of seven tests by Kolář was created and used. Five basic testing protocols of NeuroCom Smart EquiTest, a computerized dynamic posturography device, were used to measure postural stability. Michaela Stupková Rok obhajoby: 2020 Cíl práce: Cílem práce je zhodnotit statickou i dynamickou posturální stabilitu a funkci hlubokého stabilizačního systému páteře u tanečnic moderního tance a porovnat je s běžnou populací, která se pravidelně nevěnuje žádné sportovní aktivitě. Následně vyhodnotit vzájemný vztah posturální stability a funkce hlubokého stabilizačního systému páteře u obou skupin. Metoda: Výzkum má charakter observační komparační pilotní studie, které se účastnilo 16 tanečnic moderního tance v experimentální skupině a 11 žen, které se pravidelně nevěnují žádné sportovní aktivitě v kontrolní skupině. Pro zhodnocení funkce hlubokého stabilizačního systému páteře byla vytvořena a použita testovací baterie sedmi testů dle Koláře. K hodnocení dynamické posturální stability bylo použito pět základních testovacích protokolů dynamického posturografu NeuroCom Smart EquiTest. Data z měření posturální stability byla zpracována v programu NeuroCom Balance Manager software. Výsledky byly statisticky zpracovány v programu Microsoft Office Excel 2016.
