Die Darstellung der deutschen Nachkriegszeit im Roman Landgericht von Ursula Krechel

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the novel District court (Landgericht) by the contemporary German writer Ursula Krechel, who introduces a life story of one German family in the period from the thirties to the seventies in the 20th century in this book. The fact, that the father has a Jewish origin fatally affects the fate of all the family members. Even though the story is a fiction, its historical background is real and supported by authentic material, which the author often cites. The first part of this bachelor thesis introduces the writer, analyses the title, time, places, style of narration, language and composition. It follows a summary of the story, a characterization of the main characters and an outline of their life stories. It deals then with the important themes in the novel - problems of the partnership, collapse of the family and loss of the identity. The result of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of this literary work, which answers the research question, how the postwar Germany is portrayed in the novel District court. The writer casts doubt on the post-war course of events in Germany. Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá románem Zemský soud (Landgericht) současné německé spisovatelky Ursuly Krechelové, která v tomto díle představuje osud jedné německé rodiny v období od 30. do 70. let 20. století. Fakt, že otec má židovský původ fatálně ovlivní osud všech členů rodiny. Přestože je románový příběh fiktivní, jeho historické pozadí je reálné a doložené autentickým materiálem, ze kterého autorka v románu často cituje. První část práce představuje autorku a její tvorbu, analyzuje název díla, časové roviny, místa, styl vyprávění, jazykové prostředky a kompozici. Následuje shrnutí příběhu, charakteristika hlavních postav a nastínění jejich osudů. Dále se věnuje důležitým tématům v románu - problematice partnerství, rozkladu rodiny a ztrátě identity. Výsledkem práce je analýza tohoto literárního díla, které odpovídá na výzkumnou otázku, jak je v románu Zemský soud ztvárněno poválečné Německo. Autorka kriticky zobrazuje poválečný vývoj v Německu. Kromě fatálních důsledků války na všechny členy rodiny, kterou se po válce nepodaří už nikdy spojit, zobrazuje nepravosti, které se lidem vracejícím se z exilu v poválečném Německu děly. V rovině poválečného vývoje Německa naráží autorka na velké deficity v souvislosti s vyrovnáváním se s nacistickou minulostí a holokaustem. Průběh...
