Venezuela a Kuba: Komparace režimů a vzájemné vztahy

Abstract

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the comparation of current political regimes in Venezuela and Cuba and on their mutual relations. In the comparation there is a specific attention paid to several chosen aspects that are key for the character of the regimes. These aspects are the causes and circumstances of the regimes' establishments, the personalities of their main leaders, the formation of the regimes during the first years in office, main political events and the official ideologies, foreign policies and their international positions and last but not least the economic situation of both countries. The contents of the thesis is divided into four main sections. The first section contains a thorough analysis of the regime in Venezuela that has existed from the year 1999 and also includes a short analysis of the events that lead to its establishment. The second section analyses the situation in Cuba since Fidel Castro came to power and it also pays a short attention to the circumstances that preceded that. The third extensive part analyses relations between Venezuela and Cuba since the year 1999 and it also summarizes the relations between these states from the beginning of Fidel Castro's government in 1958 to the year 1999. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací současných politických režimů ve Venezuele a na Kubě a jejich vzájemnými vztahy. Specifická pozornost je pak v komparaci věnována několika zvoleným aspektům, které jsou pro charakter režimů klíčové. Těmito aspekty jsou příčiny a okolnosti nástupu obou režimů, osobnosti jejich hlavních vůdců, formování režimů v prvních letech u moci, hlavní politické dění a s ním provázaná oficiální vládní ideologie, zahraniční politika a postoj na mezinárodním poli a v neposlední řadě ekonomická situace zemí. Obsah práce je rozdělen do čtyř hlavních sekcí. První sekce se zabývá důkladnou analýzou režimu ve Venezuele existujícího od roku 1999 včetně kratšího historického dění vedoucího k jeho nastolení. Druhá sekce se zaměřuje na analýzu situace na Kubě od nástupu Fidela Castra k moci, přičemž se krátce věnuje i relevantními okolnostmi, které tomu předcházely. Třetí velká část analyzuje vzájemné vztahy Venezuely a Kuby od roku 1999 a zároveň i stručně shrnuje poměry mezi těmito státy od začátku vlády Fidela Castra v roce 1958 do roku 1999. Čtvrtá sekce komparuje oba režimy se specifickým zaměřením na oblasti, které jsou již uvedeny výše.
