| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to translate two chapters from the book Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in Space by Mary Roach. The two chapters selected for translation from English into Czech are Houston, We Have a Fungus and The Horizontal Stuff. The theoretical part of the thesis begins with the analysis of the source text and continues with the translation problems analysis and the description of the translation procedures and shifts applied.
