Neorealismus v italské literatuře

Abstract

This dissertation on Neorelism in Italian Literature seeks to concretise and define more precisely literary neorealism through the analysis of the literary works of the main representatives (main representatives of what?) . Formally, the work is divided into eleven chapters. The first two chapters are aimed at a theoretical introduction to the issues related to the subject: the definition of realism and the introduction of the literary directions from which neorealism was based. The third chapter outlines the historical and cultural context of the twenties and thirties, that is, the time that preceded the emergence of neorealism, and at the same time gives a brief overview of the cultural movements that were at that time. The chapter concludes with an analysis of novels that are not yet non-realistic, but their linguistic and by means of content they no longer presage neorealism. The novels are: Gli Indifferenti by Alberto Moravia, Paesi tuoi by Cesare Pavese and Conversazione in Sicilia by Eloa Vittorini. Dizertační práce Neorelismus v italské literatuře usiluje o konkretizaci a přesnější definici literárního neorealismu skrze analýzu konkrétních literárních děl hlavních představitelů. Formálně je práce rozdělena do jedenácti kapitol. První dvě kapitoly se snaží o teoretický úvod do problematiky související s uvedeným tématem: definice realismu a představení literárních směrů, ze kterých neorealismus vycházel. Třetí kapitola nastiňuje historický a kulturní kontext dvacátých a třicátých let, to jest doby, která předcházela vzniku neorealismu, a zároveň podává stručný přehled kulturních hnutí, která se v té době prosazovala, kapitola se uzavírá analýzou románů, které ještě nejsou neorealistické, ale svými jazykovými a obsahovými prostředky už neorealismus předznamenávají. Jsou to romány: Gli Indifferenti Alberta Moravii, Paesi tuoi o Cesara Paveseho a Conversazione in Sicilia Elia Vittoriniho. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována anglickým překladům Cesareho Paveseho, které vnesly do italské literatury nové jazykové prostředky a dále antologii L'Americana, kterou v roce 1941 sestavil a editoval Elio Vittorini a která byla jedním z hlavních inspirativních zdrojů, jak pro neorealismus literární, tak filmový.
