Znalosti sester v komunikaci s pacienty s mentální retardací

Abstract

Bakalářská práce "Znalosti sester v komunikaci s pacienty s mentální retardací" se zabývá problematikou komunikace mezi sestrami a specifickou skupinou pacientů, a to pacientů s mentální retardací. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - část teoretickou a část empirickou. Teoretická část práce přináší nejprve základní přehled a obecný úvod do problematiky komunikace, dále seznamuje s problematikou mentální retardace a vysvětluje specifika komunikace s mentálně retardovanými osobami a uvádí vhodná doporučení pro komunikaci s mentálně postiženými lidmi. Empirická část obsahuje vlastní šetření a prezentaci výsledků a zaměřuje se na zjištění znalostí, dovedností a zkušeností sester při komunikaci s pacienty s tímto handicapem. Výzkumná část byla uskutečněna formou nestandardizovaného dotazníkového šetření, které probíhalo na vybraných pracovištích lůžkové péče ve Fakultní nemocnici v Motole. Výsledky potvrzují, že s pacienty s mentální retardací se častěji setkávají sestry na odděleních pro děti a také, že množství znalostí sester v této oblasti nesouvisí s jejich dosaženým vzděláním. The bachelor thesis "Knowledge of nurses in communication with patients with mental retardation" deals with the problematics of communication between nurses and a specific group of patients, patients with mental retardation. The thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical part and empirical part. The theoretical part of the work first brings a basic overview and a general introduction to the problematics of communication, and than introduces the problems of mental retardation and explains the specifics in communication with mentally retarded people and provides appropriate recommendations for communicating with mentally disabled people. The empirical part includes own research and presentation of the results and focuses on the knowledge, skills and experience of nurses in communicating with patients with this disability. The research survey was done by a non-standardized questionnaire, which was performed at selected inpatient departments at the Motol University Hospital. The results confirm that patients with mental retardation are more often in children's wards and also that the amount of knowledge of nurses in this area unrelated to their education.
