Klima školy, spokojenost a zdraví učitelů v kontextu vybraných proměnných

Abstract

The rigorosum thesis deals with the topic of school climate and its relationship to the professional satisfaction and health of teachers. In the broader context, this paper deals with the relationship between the work environment represented by the school climate and the two dimensions of subjective quality of life and personal well-being - happiness and satisfaction in the profession and job, and health-related quality of life. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the definition and theoretical foundation of the term 'school climate', the research in this field and its methodology. Professional satisfaction is presented from the perspective of positive psychology and happiness. The chapter about health summarizes various conceptions of health and illness, and shows those health affecting factors relevant to teaching professions. At the end of this chapter, the project 'School Supporting Health' is looked into. The last chapter focuses on the teaching profession and research findings related to school climate, satisfaction and health. The empirical part of the thesis delivers summaries of quantitative research mapping evaluation of the school climate conducted by teachers, their professional satisfaction and health in the context of selected variables - gender, field of study, years of...

Rigorózní práce se věnuje problematice klimatu školy a jeho vztahu k profesní spokojenosti a zdraví učitelů. V širší souvislosti se tato práce zabývá vztahem mezi pracovním prostředím reprezentovaným klimatem školy a dvěma dimenzemi subjektivní kvality života a osobní pohody - štěstím a spokojeností v profesi a práci učitelů a s kvalitou života souvisejícím zdravím. Teoretická část předkládá definici a teoretická východiska klimatu školy, věnuje se také metodologické problematice spojené s jeho výzkumem. Profesní spokojenost je zde představena z hlediska pozitivní psychologie a operacionalizována jako štěstí. Kapitola pojednávající o zdraví shrnuje různá pojetí zdraví a nemoci a představuje ty faktory ovlivňující zdraví, které jsou relevantní pedagogické profesi. V závěru kapitoly je představen projekt Škola podporující zdraví. Poslední kapitola je věnována profesi učitele a výzkumným poznatkům ve vztahu ke školnímu klimatu, spokojenosti a zdraví. Empirická část diplomové práce shrnuje poznatky kvantitativní výzkumné studie mapující hodnocení klimatu školy učiteli, jejich profesní spokojenost a zdraví v kontextu vybraných proměnných - pohlaví učitelů, jejich vystudovaného oboru a délky praxe ve školství a v kontextu velikosti a typu škol, ve kterých učitelé působí.
