Das Prinzip der Individualität und das Absolute bei Leibniz

Abstract

Ich versuche darzustellen, dass die Individualität sowohl Gottes, das unbeschränkte Ganze, als auch der erschaffenen Monaden, der Beschränkungen Gottes, in der Metaphysik Leibniz' dadurch erklärbar ist, dass einerseits Gott wegen seiner quantitativen Unbeschränktheit alle möglichen Qualitäten besitzt und demnach alle seine Qualitäten bestimmt sind und andererseits die Monaden wegen ihrer Beschränktheit über eine vollständig bestimmte Teilemenge der Quantitäten verfügen. Daher kann gesagt werden, dass die vollständige Bestimmtheit der erschaffenen Monaden und Gottes hinsichtlich ihrer Qualitäten ihre jeweilige Unterscheidung von allen anderen ermöglicht und somit das Prinzip der Identität der Ununterscheidbaren ihre Einzigkeit konstituiert. I try to show that the individuality of God, the unlimited whole, as well as the created monad, the limitations of God, can be explained in the metaphysics of Leibniz by the fact that God, because of his quantitative unlimitedness, possesses all possible qualities and thus all his qualities are determined. On the other hand, the monads, because of their limitations, have a determined set of quantities. Therefore, it can be said that the complete determinateness of the created monads and God with regard to their qualities allows their distinction from all others, and the principle of the identity of the indistinguishable constituted their uniqueness.
