Aplikace neoliberálních politik v Kolumbii a Venezuele a jejich následky

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to map the political development in two neighboring countries in Latin America: Venezuela and Colombia. Thesis will be temporarily limited from the 1990s to 2013. The student will focus on attempts at neoliberal reforms in both states and the subsequent development. In particular, the author will compare the subsequent counter- reaction to these reforms in Venezuela as opposed to maintaining this policy in neighboring Colombia.

Cílem práce je zmapovat politický vývoj ve dvou sousedních zemích v Latinské Americe: Venezuele a Kolumbii. Časově bude práce ohraničena od 90. let 20. století až po rok 2013. Student se zaměří na pokusy o neoliberální reformy v obou státech a následný vývoj. Autor bude především srovnávat následnou protireakci vůči těmto reformám ve Venezuele v protikladu k udržení této politiky v sousední Kolumbii.
