Jazyk charakterizujúci postavu "žoviálneho Ósačana" v japonských novelách a ich prekladoch do češtiny

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to address the issue regarding successful translation of yakuwarigo, Japanese character defining register, to Czech language. This study is based on the assumption that yakuwarigo used to describe the literary character of a "jovial Osakan" is derived from an existing regional variation of Japanese language, namely the Kansai region dialect, and that the specific traits it refers to are based on historical and cultural facts of the said region. In this aspect the role defining register of "Osakan" is superimposing with the notion of social deixis, interpreted in a broader sense. This overlap thus enables to pursue the issue with the help of literature regarding translation of dialects. This thesis treats translation from a descriptive standpoint and evaluates the successfulness of existing Czech translations, defined here as the extent of transmission of comparable non-language information (i.e. social deictic meaning) present in the source language original to target language translation, by the means of an public inquiry. Predmetom diplomovej práce je problematika týkajúca sa úspešného prekladu jakuwariga, japonského charakterizujúceho rečového registra, do českého jazyka. Práca sa zakladá na predpoklade, že jakuwarigo charakterizujúce literárnu postavu "žoviálneho Ósačana" je odvodené od reálne existujúcej regionálnej variácie japonského jazyka, menovite dialektu kansaiského regiónu, a že charakterové črty na ktoré odkazuje sa zakladajú na historických a kultúrnych reáliách danej oblasti. V tomto ohľade sa rečový register "Ósačana" prekrýva s konceptom sociálnej deixe, interpretovanej v širšom význame. Tento prienik tak umožňuje bádanie za pomoci čerpania referencií zo sekundárnej literatúry týkajúcej sa prekladu dialektov. Riešenie práce je deskriptívneho charakteru a posudzuje úspešnosť praktikovaných prekladateľských postupov v Českých prekladoch, v práci definovanej ako miera prenosu porovnateľných nejazykových informácií (t.j. sociálne deiktického významu) prítomných v origináli zdrojového jazyka do prekladu v cieľovom jazyku, prostredníctvom anketového riešenia. Záverečný výsledok práce by mal byť schopný poslúžiť ako zdroj užitočných informácií a referencia v procese výberu vhodnej prekladateľskej stratégie v prípade prekladu japonských charakterizujúcich prostriedkov do češtiny, tak ako aj roznietiť...
