Filmová hororová tvorba v Korejské republice

Abstract

Theme of this bachelor thesis is Horror Cinematography in the Republic of Korea. The goal of the thesis is the description of the korean horror movie history and investigation of the most often repetitive supernatural elements and the reasons of their presence in horror cinematography. The first part of the thesis focuses on the general overview of the horror genre. The work attempts to find an answer to the question of what does the popularity of this genre consist of and how it effects the viewers. The second chapter describes history and development of horror cinematography in the Republic of Korea. The third part depicts the supernatural elements from selected movies and examines the behaviour and character of the vengeful spirit. The last part focuses on the problems and criticism which appear in korean movies, examining fields from this chapter are: man and woman roles, homosexuality, school system and shamanism.

Předmětem této práce je filmová hororová tvorba v Korejské republice. Cílem je zmapovat a popsat vývoj korejských hororových filmů. Dále se zaměřit na zobrazení a charakterizování nejčastěji se opakujících strašidelných motivů a jaké jsou jejich příčiny výskytu v hororvé tvorbě. První část bakalářské práce se věnuje obecné charakteristice hororového žánru. I Zabývá se otázkou v čem spočívá popularita strašidelných filmů a jaký má jejich sledování efekt na diváka. Druhá kapitola popisuje historii a postupný vývoj hororové kinematografie v Korejské republice s ohledem na dobu, ve které filmy vznikají. Třetí část je věnovaná nadpřirozenu v korejské tvorbě. Popisuje funkci mstícího se ducha a jakými způsoby se zobrazuje. Poslední část se skládá z problémů a kritiky v hororových dílech. V této kapitole se rozebírají role muže a ženy, homosexualita, školní systém a šamanismus.
