Adaptace severokorejských uprchlíků na život v Korejské republice

Abstract

The Bachelor's thesis aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the North Korean refugees' settlement and integration in South Korea. The first part of the thesis offers a brief introduction to the subject and explores contemporary trends and patterns in the North Korean migration. I then discuss the South Korean government's attitudes towards the refugee issue and the development of policies aimed at supporting North Korean refugees. The thesis continues with a detailed description of the support program and benefits available to the refugees. Finally, the last chapter of the thesis highlights the barriers posed to the adaptation of North Koreans settled in the Republic of Korea.

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout ucelený přehled věnovaný usídlování a integraci severokorejských uprchlíků v Jižní Koreji. První část práce nabízí stručné představení do problematiky a věnuje se současným trendům a charakteristikám severokorejské migrace. Poté pojednávám o přístupu jihokorejské vlády v uprchlické otázce a o vývoji politiky zacílené na podporu severokorejských uprchlíků. Práce pokračuje podrobným popisem programu podpory uprchlíků a jim dostupných benefitů. V poslední kapitole pak uvádím překážky adaptace Severokorejců usídlených v Korejské republice.
