Abstract

0 Abstract This thesis named "Retrospective Preview of the activities of the Music Department of SVK Ústí nad Labem and the concept of a future merger with the sound library", in the form of a case study describes, in the introductory part, the activities of the North Bohemian research library in General, in other parts it is described and evaluated the historical development of the Music Department and it is also described the transition from special funds to the Music Department, and as well the introduction of automation of library processes into library practice. In the practical part of the thesis is in the form of semi- structured interviews and statements by senior management personnel and other library staff presented the issue of the merger of the music department and a sound library for the blind and visually impaired. The conclusion is dedicated to the evaluation of current activities and the situation of both departments and reflection on the possible operation in the future. 0 Abstrakt Tato bakalářská práce s názvem "Retrospektivní náhled na činnost Hudebního oddělení SVK Ústí nad Labem a koncepce fúze se Zvukovou knihovnou" formou případové studie popisuje v úvodní části činnost Severočeské vědecké knihovny obecně, v dalších částech je popsán a hodnocen historický vývoj Hudebního oddělení, zachycen přechod od oddělení speciálních fondů k hudebnímu oddělení, zavádění automatizace knihovnických procesů do knihovní praxe. V praktické části bakalářské práce je formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a vyjádření pracovníků užšího vedení knihovny a dalších pracovníků prezentována problematika fúze Hudebního oddělení a Zvukové knihovny pro nevidomé a zrakově postižené. Závěr je věnován zhodnocení současné činnosti a situace obou oddělení a zamyšlení nad možným fungováním v budoucnu.
