Okresní akční výbor Národní fronty v Ostravě a jeho působení v prvních měsících po únoru 1948

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with circumstances around the emergence of the District Action Committee of the National Front in Ostrava in February 1948 and its functioning in the first months after the Czechoslovakian Communist Party takeover. After brief information on the origin of Action Committees generally, their types and their agenda and analysis of then current legislation that gradually reflected their activities, the attention is paid to specific circumstances and events in the Ostrava District. The setup of District Action Committee is described along with its structure and agenda that was followed. The thesis also deals with activity of certain commissions of the District Action Committee, with main focus on the Sokol commission that has been best documented. The thesis also briefly mentions the role of the District Action Committee in suppression and distraction of political opposition of non- communist parties. With respect to the fact that these particular topics, with a few exceptions, have not been addressed in complex and in more details in literature, the thesis is mostly based on the primary research of archive sources identified in the funds of the Municipal Archive of Ostrava. Bakalářská práce se zabývá okolnostmi vzniku Okresního akčního výboru Národní fronty v Ostravě v únoru 1948 a jeho fungování v prvních měsících po převzetí moci Komunistickou stranou Československa. Po stručné informaci o vzniku akčních výborů jako takových, jejich typech a úkolech a analýze právních předpisů, které jejich činnost postupně začínaly upravovat, je pozornost věnována konkrétním podmínkám a událostem v Ostravském okrese. Je popisováno složení okresního akčního výboru, jeho struktura a úkoly, které plnil. Práce rovněž pojednává o některých komisích OkAV, přičemž největší pozornost je věnována komisi sokolské, jejíž činnost je nejlépe zdokumentována. Konečně je stručně zmíněna i role, kterou OkAV sehrával při potlačování a likvidaci politické opozice z nekomunistických stran. Vzhledem k tomu, že tato konkrétní témata nebyla doposud odbornou literaturou až na výjimky komplexněji a detailněji zpracována, vychází práce především z primárního výzkumu archivních pramenů uložených ve fondech Archivu města Ostravy. V mnoha ohledech jsou neúplné a torzovité a některé dílčí agendy OkAV v nich nejsou podchyceny téměř vůbec. Vyložit a popsat komplexněji tak bylo možné jen ty jeho činnosti, pro něž se v archivních fondech nacházely dostatečné podklady. Přesto však lze konstatovat, že zachovaný...
