Ošetřovatelská péče o pacienta po bariatrické operaci

Abstract

Obesity belongs to the category of lifestyle diseases. It is expected that the obesity incidence will continue to grow. Currently there are several alternatives of treating this disease. Every patient must go through a conservative way of treatment at first and only in case of its failure the bariatric and metabolic surgeries take their turn. This bachelor thesis was drawn up in a form of a case study which concerns a female patient suffering from almost 2. class obesity. It describes 32 year old female patient who decided to reduce her weight and underwent a gastric sleeve surgery. Taking into account the characteristics of the medical intervention the multidisciplinary team focuses its activities mainly on pre- and post-operational matters which closely relate to formation of so called non-compliance. When, however, everything goes well and there are no complications thereafter the quality of life of a patient grows in most of the cases. Obezita patří do kategorie civilizačních chorob. Očekává se, že se její incidence bude i nadále zvyšovat. V současnosti existuje několik možností, jak toto onemocnění léčit. Každý pacient musí nejdříve podstoupit léčbu konzervativní a až v případě jejího selhání přichází na řadu bariatrická a metabolická chirurgie. Tato bakalářská práce byla zpracována formou případové studie, která se týká pacientky s hraniční obezitou 2. stupně. Popisuje 32letou pacientku, která se rozhodla svoji váhu zredukovat a podstoupila chirurgický zákrok tubulizace žaludku. Vzhledem k charakteru zákroku je činnost multidisciplinárního týmu zaměřena především na předoperační a pooperační přístup, který úzce souvisí se vznikem tzv. non-compliance. Když se ale vše podaří a nevyskytnou se komplikace, stane se ve většině případů život pacienta kvalitnějším.
