Integrace dospívajících Vietnamců v Ústeckém kraji

Abstract

This thesis examines the integration of adolescents of Vietnamese origin in the Ústí nad Labem region. For my research I chose a region with high unemployment, in which there are large Vietnamese and Roma minorities. The aim of the research is to establish how the Vietnamese young people are integrated alongside the Roma youth in the region, to get to know these two different minorities, to assess, on the basis of a comparison, the degree of integration of the Vietnamese youth, and to determine what impact the aggravating factors in the place where they live has on these adolescents. The general part of the thesis deals with the arrival of the Vietnamese minority in the Czech Republic in the past and the present, and with the coexistence of this minority with the original inhabitants in our country and the neighbouring countries of Central Europe. It presents the organisations that help this specific group and other supportive networks that newcomers to the Czech Republic can make use of. A further section is devoted to the Roma minority in the Ústí nad Labem region. It thus compares two different types of integration of minorities. Tato práce zkoumá integraci dospívajících vietnamského původu v Ústeckém kraji. Pro svůj výzkum jsem zvolila kraj s vysokou nezaměstnaností, v němž žije početná vietnamská a romská menšina. Cílem práce je tedy zjistit, jak se zde vedle romské mládeže integruje mládež vietnamská, poznat tyto dvě odlišné minority, na základě jejich porovnání pak zhodnotit míru integrace vietnamské mládeže a určit, jak na dospívající působí ztěžující faktory místa, kde žijí. Obecná část práce se zabývá příchodem vietnamské menšiny do ČR v minulosti a dnes a soužitím této menšiny s původními obyvateli u nás i v okolních státech střední Evropy. Představuje organizace, které pomáhají této konkrétní skupině, a další pomocné sítě, které nově příchozí mohou v ČR využít. Další část práce se věnuje romské menšině na Ústecku. Staví tak vedle sebe dva různé typy integrace minorit. Praktická část zkoumá názory samotných dospívajících. Zkoumala jsem, jak vnímají tito mladí lidé svou odlišnost, co vědí o svých kořenech, zda vyhledávají kontakty s vrstevníky ze stejné menšiny nebo i z majority. Tyto údaje zjišťuji prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vybranými respondenty, jejichž počet jsem stanovila na deset, z toho 5 romských a 5 vietnamských.
