"Dost je dost": Diskurzivní analýza parlamentních projevů Geerta Wilderse 2010-2015

Abstract

This thesis ("Enough is enough": Discourse analysis of Geert Wilders' parliament speeches 2010-2015) aims to analyze the rhetoric of the leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV) Geert Wilders in the House of Representatives between the years 2010 and 2015 and with the use of discourse analysis it aims to answer the research questions. The research questions of this work concern the issue of labeling Geert Wilders as a populist politician and his strong criticism of Islam, multiculturalism and European integration. Based on the theoretical literature and practical analysis of Geert Wilders' discourse, this thesis will answer the question if Wilders' rhetoric meet the criteria of populism. By analyzing the speeches it is also possible to determine the main topics of his speeches and answer the question if the criticism of Islam or European Union are a permanent feature of Wilders' speeches or just seldom mentions. The researched period includes the spectacular success of the PVV in 2010 general election, the drop in the 2012 general election and the following time in opposition. Tato bakalářská práce ("Dost je dost": Diskurzivní analýza parlamentních projevů Geerta Wilderse 2010-2015) si klade za cíl analyzovat rétoriku lídra nizozemské Strany pro svobodu (PVV) Geerta Wilderse v poslanecké sněmovně mezi lety 2010 a 2015 a pomocí diskurzivní analýzy jeho projevů zodpovědět výzkumné otázky. Výzkumné otázky této práce se zabývají problematikou označení Geerta Wilderse za populistického politika a jeho silné kritiky islámu, multikulturalismu a evropské integrace. Na základě teoretické literatury a praktické analýzy diskurzu Geerta Wilderse zodpoví tato práce otázku, zda Wildersova rétorika naplňuje předpoklady populismu. Zkoumáním projevů lze také určit hlavní témata Wildersových řečí a zodpovědět otázku, zda je kritika islámu či evropské integrace neustálou součástí jeho proslovů, nebo zda se jedná pouze o příležitostné zmínky. Zkoumané období zahrnuje projevy z doby po senzačním úspěchu PVV ve volbách roku 2010, po propadu ve volbách 2012 i následné období působení v opozici. Diskurzivní analýza je vystavěna na oficiálních přepisech promluv Geerta Wilderse v dolní komoře parlamentu (Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal), teoretická část práce je pak zakotvena odbornou literaturou i relevantními primárními zdroji: dokumenty vydanými nizozemským parlamentem, Stranou pro svobodu či...
