FAMU v letech 1989-1993

Abstract

Filmová a televizní fakulta je jedna ze tří fakult Akademie múzických umění v Praze (DAMU, FAMU, HAMU). Škola vzdělává své studenty pro profese spojené s filmem, televizí, elektronickými médii a tradičními sdělovacími prostředky. Škola byla založena 28. listopadu 1946. Ve své práci o FAMU se zabývám obdobím po revoluci v roce 1989, kdy si škola hledala novu podobu, až do roku 1993. Období jsem si omezila rokem 1993, kdy byl vydán Zákon č. 273/1993 o některých podmínkách výroby, šíření a archivování audiovizuálních děl a tím byl zrušen státní monopol. Ve své práci nejdříve uvádím zhodnocení historie školy a poukazuji na nejpodstatnější momenty, kdy došlo k proměnám. Uvádím pedagogickou skladbu hlavních tvůrčích kateder, abych vytvořila platformu pro detailnější analýzu klíčových témat. Nedílnou součástí práce je FAMU v době revoluce, kdy docházelo postupně k největším změnám. Po té jsem navázala zpracováním profilu instituce školy transformované, kde zhodnotím personálie školy a poměry vnitřní struktury. Jako prameny mi sloužila odborná literatura a rozhovory s pamětníky. Film and TV School (FAMU) is one of the three faculties of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The Academy educates its students in the field of cinema, television, digital media and communication. It was founded on the 28th November 1946. In my work I have focused on the period after the Velvet Revolution in 1989 to 1993 in which FAMU was seeking its own new identity and shape. I have decided to border this period by the year 1993 because of the changes in legislation. The new Act 273/1993 provided some new perspectives on production, distribution and archivation of audiovisual works which led into the cancellation of the state monopoly in this field. At first I have focused on the history of the faculty and the most important moments which led to changes. I have listed the professors of the most important creative departments so I was able to provide a more detailed analysis of the key topics. One of the most important parts of my thesis is FAMU during the years of the Velvet Revolution because it is the period that brought the biggest changes. I have followed in providing the analysis of the faculty after the transformation including the breakdown of the staff and the appraisal of the inner structure.
