Analýza fondu knihovny Historického kabinetu Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze

Abstract

Bakalářská práce analyzuje fond Historického kabinetu. Tato knihovna je oborovou knihovnou na Filozofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy. Jejím hlavním účelem je půjčování knih studentům a profesorům Filozofické fakulty, ale také se zapojuje do dalších knihovnických projektů (např. Ptejte se knihovny). Jádro fondu knihovny je tvořeno od 80. let 19. století. Práce pomocí rozboru inventárních knih, přírůstkových seznamů i archivních materiálů analyzuje jednotlivé sbírky Historického fondu. Rovněž se zaměřuje na staré tisky, které byly do fondu vřazeny. V této souvislosti zkoumá i exlibris a jiné provenienční znaky, které se objevily právě na starých tiscích. Také se zaměřuje na dary, jelikož ty tvoří až 35% z celého fondu. Skladbu fondu často ovlivnila současná politická situace, kterou práce také zohledňuje.

The thesis analyzes Historical cabinet. This library is a subject Library of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. Its main purpose is lending books to the students and professors of the Faculty of Arts, but also engages in other library projects (eg. Ask the library). The core of the library is formed from the 80's of the ninetheen century. The thesis uses inventory books, incremental lists and archive sources and analyses individual collections of Historical cabinet. It also focuses on old prints that are included in the Fund. In this context, the thesis also examines Exlibris and other provenance characters that have appeared on the old books. Likewise focuses on donations, as they constitute up to 35% of the entire Fund. Structure of the Fund was often influenced by the current political situation, which also takes into account the work.
