Na fenoménu internetových memů zkoumá nové typy moderního folkloru, které pojmenovává kyberfolklorem. Cílem práce je popsat prostor, kde k tomuto předávání dochází, zmapovat dosavadní výzkum moderního folkloru na internetu a definovat mem jakožto folklorní formu.
Presented bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of transmission of the cultural symbols in cyberspace. The online meme phenomenon is being researched as a type of modern folklore. The thesis is proposing to call this folklore "cyberfolklore". The aim of the thesis is to describe space, where the transmission takes place, to map contemporary research on modern folklore and to define "meme" as a form of folklore.
