Náboženský a sociokulturní pohled na dynastii Omríovců

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá omríovskou dynastií v době starozákonního Izraele. Rozebírá aspekty náboženské, sociální a kulturní. Jde o dynastii, která vládla v 9. století před Kristem. Cílem práce bylo podat za pomoci tří hlavních zdrojů - biblického výkladu, dobových památek a odborných prací, ze kterých o době Izraelského království práce vychází, ucelený pohled na dynastii Omríovců. K tomu autor práce použil biblické prameny - První a Druhou knihu Královskou, částečně i Druhou knihu Paralipomenon. Autor seznamuje čtenáře s některými událostmi, s jednotlivými omríovskými panovníky a s jejich motivy jednání. Ty jsou prezentovány biblickým výkladem odlišně, než vypovídají závěry odborných prací současných historiků. Doprovázeny jsou popisem významných dobových památek. Nechybí ani stručný popis okolních národů, které za doby Omríovců přicházely s Izraelem do válečného, obchodního ale i diplomatického kontaktu. Velký prostor je dáván postavě Jezábel, která jako královna a zastánce jiných kulturních a náboženských tradic ovlivňovala po dobu mnoha let vývoj událostí v severním Izraeli. Jako protiváha biblických textů a dobových památek je v práci doba starého Izraele dokreslena archeologickými výzkumy či nálezy a odbornými vědeckými pracemi předních historiků. The Bachelor thesis discusses the Omrides in time of Old Testament's Israel. It analyzes religious, social and cultural aspects. It is a dynasty that ruled in the 9th century BC. The main objective of the thesis is to give a holistic view on the Omrides through three main sources - biblical interpretation, contemporary monuments and scientific works, which are used for better understanding of ancient Israel. The author of the thesis used biblical sources - Books of Kings, partly also the 2nd Book of Chronicles. The author introduces the reader with some historic events, with the kings of the House of Omri and also with motives of their acts and manners. These are presented with the biblical interpretation differently than the works of current historians predicate. They are accompanied with the description of important monuments. The description of surrounding nations that come into warlike, diplomatic or business contact with Israel under the rule of the Omrides is also included. The important role is attributed to the Queen of Jezabel who as an exponent of different traditions and cultural standards influenced Israel for many years.
