Francouzská kulturní politika na příkladu evropského předsednictví

Abstract

Diploma thesis "French cultural politics within the example of the European presidency" deals with the cultural agenda within the frame of the French presidency in the EU Council in the second semester 2008. It concentrates on the question whether France, which traditionally accentuates cultural politics, still plays a key role in the culturalpolitical field, and whether the European Presidency gives France an opportunity to enforce its objectives in this area. Fhe thesis deals with the French cultural politics, its history, structure, key actors and priorities. It also concentrates on the European dimension of cultural politics, its development and current situation and mainly on the period of the French presidency of the European Union. It analyses the French priorities within the cultural sector and the means of their enforcement at the European level using the examples of particular cases. The thesis also aims to generalize the significance of the EU presidency period with regard to the possibilities of the presiding countries to enforce their priorities in the cultural sphere. Diplomová práce " Francouzská kulturní politika na příkladu evropského předsednictví" se věnuje kulturní agendě v rámci předsednictví Francie v Radě Evropské unie v druhém pololetí roku 2008. Zabývá se otázkou, zda Francie, která tradičně klade na kulturní politiku velký důraz, stále hraje klíčovou roli na kultumě-politické scéně, a je-li pro ni evropské předsednictví příležitostí prosadit své cíle v této oblasti. Práce se věnuje francouzské kulturní politice, její historii, struktuře, aktérům a prioritám. Dále rovněž pojednává o evropské dimenzi kulturní politiky, jejím vývoji i současném stavu. Hlavní důraz klade na období francouzského předsednictví EU. Věnuje se prioritám Francie v kulturní oblasti a prostředky jejich prosazování na evropské úrovni, které zkoumá na konkrétních příkladech. Práce si rovněž klade za cíl zobecnit význam období evropského předsednictví pro členské státy EU ve vztahu k jejich možnostem prosadit své priority z oblasti kulturní politiky.
