Japonsko-čínské vztahy a problém bezpečnosti v regionu východní Asie

Abstract

Cílem práce je analyzovat problém bezpečnosti v regionu východní Asie z pohledu soupeření o moc mezi Japonskem a Čínou od založení Čínské lidové republiky do současnosti. V práci je na konkrétním případu vztahu Číny a Japonska testována hypotéza vycházející z liberální teorie mezinárodních vztahů, podle níž těsnější ekonomické propojení mezi jednotlivými státy snižuje pravděpodobnost jejich vzájemného konfliktu.

The aim of this work is to examine security issues in East Asia from the perspective of competition for power between Japan and China, since the foundation of the People's Republic of China up to the present. Using the specific case of Sino-Japanese relations, this work tests the hypothesis based on the liberal theory of international relations that closer economic relations reduce the likelihood of conflict among states.
