Liberální demokracie v rétorice Viktora Orbána

Abstract

Předmětem této práce je analýza rétoriky maďarského premiéra Viktora Orbána vůči klíčovým elementům liberální demokracie definovaným Larrym Diamondem v časovém rozmezí od roku 2010. Práce navazuje na dosavadní studie v této oblasti, které se zabývají změnami maďarského systémového uspořádání a maďarskou politickou praxí uplynulých let. Reaguje také na veřejnou diskuzi o Maďarsku, kterou provází kritika maďarské vlády ze strany mezinárodních institucí či nevládních organizací. Východiskem pro zpracování práce jsou prohlášení Viktora Orbána o záměru odvrátit se od maďarského státního uspořádání postaveného na principech liberální demokracie. Práce si klade otázku, v jakých ohledech se Viktor Orbán na úrovni verbálních projevů vymezuje proti deseti Diamondovým elementům liberální demokracie, a to na třech rovinách. Zkoumá tak oblast Orbánova zamýšleného státního uspořádání, Orbánovu interpretaci liberální demokracie a zejména oblast všeobecných výroků, které se, ať už vědomě či nevědomě, vymezují proti Diamondovým elementům liberální demokracie. ...

The subject of this thesis is to analyze the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's rhetoric towards the key elements of liberal democracy defined by Larry Diamond since year 2010. The thesis follows up on previous studies in this area which address the changes in the Hungarian constitutional order and political practice of the past years. It also reacts to the public discussion about the situation in Hungary which is accompanied by criticism of the Hungarian government on the part of international institutions and non­governmental organizations. The basis for pursuing with this particular topic is Viktor Orbán's stated intention to turn away from the Hungarian state organization built on the principles of liberal democracy. The thesis raises the question in what aspects is Viktor Orbán verbally distancing himself from the elements of liberal democracy.
