Respektování důstojnosti u pacientů na JIP a ARO

Abstract

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku respektování důstojnosti u pacientů na odděleních JIP a ARO. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak sestry vnímají a respektují lidskou důstojnost u pacientů v intenzivní péči. Dále pak zjistit, které výkony nejvíce ohrožují důstojnost a zda-li zdravotní sestry respektují Práva pacientů a Etický kodex. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole jsou definovány základní pojmy: lidská důstojnost, intimita, stud, osobnost, morálka, etika a práva pacientů. Druhá kapitola je věnována dokumentu Essence of Care 2010, jehož část se zabývá problematikou respektování lidské důstojnosti ve zdravotnické a sociální péči. Ve třetí kapitole jsou popsány důležité ctnosti, vlastnosti a komunikační dovednosti sester. Praktická část popisuje cíle, metodiku a organizaci výzkumného šetření. Do výzkumného souboru bylo zařazeno 86 zdravotních sester (10 mužů, 76 žen). Respondenti pracují na odděleních JIP a ARO ve VFN. K získání dat byl sestaven dotazník vlastní konstrukce. Pro zpracování statistických dat byla použita základní popisná statistika s počítačovým programem Microsoft Office Excel. This bachelor's thesis is focused on the issue of respect for dignity of patients at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Department (ARD). The main objective of this work was to determine how nurses perceive and respect the human dignity of patients in intensive care. Furthermore, to determine which procedures are the most harmful to dignity and whether nurses respect the rights of patients and the Code of Ethics. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the basic terms: human dignity, intimacy, shame, personality, morality, ethics and patients' rights. The second chapter is focused on document Essence of Care 2010, part of which deals with the issue of respect for human dignity in health and social care. The third chapter describes the important virtues, qualities and communication skills of nurses. The practical part describes objectives, methodology and organization of research. The research group involved 86 nurses (10 men, 76 women). All respondents work at ICU and ARD at the General University Hospital in Prague.
