Komentovaný překlad vybraných kapitol z knihy "Celtic Goddesses: Warriors, Virgins and Mothers"; Miranda Green; London: British Museum Press, 1995

Abstract

Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Část první představuje překlad kapitoly 2 "Goddesses of War" z knihy Mirandy Greenové Celtic Goddesses: Warriors, Virgins and Mothers, odborné publikace pojednávající o problematice ženských božstev v keltském náboženství. Druhou částí je překladatelský komentář, jehož součástí je překladatelská analýza provedená na základě vnětextových a vnitrotextových faktorů, rozbor hlavních překladatelských problémů textu a typologie překladatelských posunů.

This thesis contains two parts: the first one consists of the translation of the Chapter 2 'Goddesses of War' from archeologist Miranda Green's book Celtic Goddesses: Warriors, Virgins and Mothers dealing with female divinities in the Celtic religion. The second part of the thesis is a commentary of the translation consisting of the translation analysis based on extratextual and intratextual factors, the analysis of the main translation problems of the text and the typology of the translation shifts.
