Náboženská interpretace psychotického onemocnění. Jak rozumí svému onemocnění křesťansky orientovaní pacienti?

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá náboženskými interpretacemi psychotického onemocnění. V teoretické části je nejprve psychotické onemocnění stručně definováno a je zde nastíněno několik podnětných psychologických výkladů. Následuje přehled historie vztahu psychologie a náboženství. V další kapitole jsou shrnuty některé náboženské interpretace psychóz. Těžištěm práce je výzkumná část. Jde o psychologický kvalitativní výzkum, z něhož vyplývá, jak tři křesťansky orientované duševně nemocné ženy s psychotickými symptomy interpretují vlastní nemoc. Uvedené případové studie jsou pak v samostatné kapitole srovnány, čímž dochází k mírnému zobecnění výsledků. Na závěr jsou reflektovány limity výzkumu.

This thesis deals with religious interpretations of psychotic illness. In the theoretical part, the psychotic disorder is first briefly defined and several stimulating psychological interpretations are outlined. An overview of the history of the relationship of psychology and religion follows. The next chapter summarizes some religious interpretations of psychosis. The focus of the work is on the research part. It is a psychological qualitative research, which shows how three Christian-oriented mentally ill women with psychotic symptoms interpret their own illness. The case studies are then compared in a separate chapter, entailing a slight generalization of the results. At the end there is a reflection on the limitations of the research.
