epilepsy, quality of life, epileptic seizure, lifestyleÚvod: U osob, které trpí chronickým onemocněním, jako je epilepsie, není vyléčení často dosažitelné a pacienti se s následky a omezeními, které s nemocí přicházejí, potýkají mnohdy celý život. Dosažení určité kvality života (QoL) je důležitým výsledkem zdravotní péče. Z tohoto důvodu je nutné se již při stanovení této diagnózy jejím hodnocením zabývat. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo zjistit a zhodnotit úrovně kvality života u lidí trpící epilepsií pomocí dotazníku QOLIE-31 se zaměřením na odlišnosti mezi pohlavím, věkovou kategorií a společenským dopadem tohoto onemocnění. Metodika: Skupinu respondentů tvořili pacienti z odborné ambulance Thomayerovy nemocnice (33 respondentů: 36,66 %), dále z poradny pro epileptické a neepileptické záchvaty (17 respondentů: 24,29 %), lůžkového oddělení neurologie (12 respondentů: 17,14 %) v Nemocnici Na Františku. Sběr dat probíhal od 15. prosince 2014 do 30. ledna 2015. Bylo distribuováno 160 dotazníků a návratnost dosáhla 62 (38,75 %) respondentů, z nichž 53,23 % tvořili ženy a 46,77 % muži. Výsledky: Při hodnocení kvality života epileptiků bylo zjištěno, že ženy ve věkové kategorii 18-29 let a nad 50 let věku hodnotili svoji kvalitu života lépe než muži. Ženy v těchto věkových kategoriích udávaly bod č. 10 (nejlepší kvalita života) až 6x (23,81 %) zatímco muži...
Summary: Background: People whose suffer chronic disease like epilepsy where curing isn't often achievable are dealing with consequences and limitations to the end of their lives. The achievement of optimal level of quality of life is important reset of medical care. From this reason is nessesery to concern evaluation during the proces sof diagnosis. The main goal of this bachelor's work was to find out and evaluate the level of quality of life of epileptics with help by questionnaire QOLIE-31 with focus on differences between gender, age category and social impact of this disease. Methods: Respondents were gained from specialized ambulance of Thomayer hospital (33 respondents: 36,66 %) next from counselling for epileptic and non-epileptic seizures(17 respondents: 24,29 %) and from the neurogical ward of Hospital Na Františku (12 respondents: 17,14 %). The data were gathered from 15th of December 2014 to 30th of January 2015. It was distributed 160 questionnaires and 62 (38,75 %) of them were returned (women: 53,23 % and men: 46,77 %). Results: During the resulting the quality of life of epileptics was find out that the women in age category 18-29 and above 50 has evaluated their quality of lives better than man.
