Abstract

Práce popisuje život v Rakovníku ve třicátých letech 20. století. Zabývá se zejména politickými poměry ve městě včetně hektického konce třicátých let. V souvislosti s tím se zaměřuje na problém uprchlíků z pohraničí. Dále se zabývá policejními a vojenskými záležitostmi ve městě. Mnoho prostoru věnuje také spolkovému životu ve městě. Velký prostor věnuje také hospodářství města, zejména podnikům a větším firmám. Práce se dotýká také rakovnického školství, kultury, zdravotnictví a církevních poměrů. Popisuje celkový vývoj města do 15. března 1939. Abstract The presented thesis describes the life in the city of Rakovnik in 1930s. It deals mainly with political situation in the Rakovnik city including the hectic end of 1930s, especially the important problem of refugees. The work is also focused on military and police affairs that were located in the city during the given time. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the city's social life, economy (especially with the focus on big companies), education system, culture, health care and situation in church. The work describes the overall development of the city of Rakovnik till the 15th of March 1939.
