Politická vyváženost zpravodajství v tisku

Abstract

Cílem práce je zmapovat politickou vyváženost a objektivitu ve zpravodajství v předvolebních kampaních v letech 2006, 2010 a 2013 ve třech nejčtenějších seriozních denících v České republice. V práci jsou shrnuty teoretické poznatky o vyváženosti a objektivitě. K analýze deníků byla použita obsahová analýza. Ve výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že přibližně dvě třetiny článků ve všech denících a letech, ve kterých je zmíněna alespoň jedna politická strana, se věnovalo přibližně napůl stranám ČSSD a ODS. Deníky nejčastěji prezentují strany pozitivně. Hlavním zjištěním práce je, že nejčastěji jsou ve článcích uváděny dvě největší politické strany.

This thesis aims to chart political bias in the news coverage during the election campaigns in years 2006, 2010 and 2013 in three the most widely read broadsheets in the Czech Republic. The thesis summarizes theoretical framework of political bias. Content analysis was used to analyze the newspapers. It was found that approximately two-thirds of the articles mentioning a political party are devoted to either ČSSD or ODS party, which both recieved komparative amounts of coverage. The newspapers reported on political parties mostly positively. The main finding of this thesis is that most of the articles discussed the two largest political parties.
