Politická vyváženost zpravodajství v tisku

Abstract

Cílem práce je zmapovat politickou vyváženost ve zpravodajství v rámci předvolebních kampaní v letech 2006, 2010 a 2013 ve třech nejčtenějších seriozních denících v České republice. V práci jsou nejprve shrnuty teoretické poznatky o vyváženosti a objektivitě. Deníky by v liberálně-demokratických zemích měly ve zpravodajských částech informovat vyváženě o jednotlivých politických stranách. Empirická část je založena na kvantitativní obsahové analýze. Tato práce porovnává vyváženost informování v denících z několika perspektiv. Jedná se o porovnání zastoupení stran v denících s jejich zastoupením v Poslanecké sněmovně a s jejich zisky v předvolebních průzkumech. Dále je zde porovnáno zastoupení pravice a levice v denících a to, jestli je informování o stranách v denících pozitivní/neutrální/negativní.

This thesis aims to chart political bias in the news coverage during the election campaigns in years 2006, 2010 and 2013 in three the most widely read serious newspapers in the Czech Republic. The thesis summarizes theoretical framework of political bias. Newspapers in liberal-democratic countries should inform about political parties balanced. Content analysis was used to analyze the newspapers. This thesis compares the information balance in newspapers from several perspectives. It compares the representation of the parties in the newspapers with their representation in the Chamber of Deputies and their gains in the polls. It also compares representation of Right and Left in the newspapers and whether is the information on political parties positive/neutral/negative.
