Abstract

Bakalářská práce Cyrill Dušek 1881-1924. V Čase a v Maffii je biografií, zpracovanou na základě dostupných publikovaných pramenů, literatury a zejména bohatého a dosud nepříliš vytěženého archivního materiálu z osobního fondu Cyrila Duška. Práce se soustřeďuje na zachycení redaktorské a veřejné činnosti Cyrilla Duška v předválečném období, primárně je však zaměřena na období první světové války. Cílem této práce je podrobné zpracovaní působení Cyrilla Duška v Maffii, zejména jeho účasti v tzv. knoflíkové aféře, která výrazně ovlivnila jeho další osud během války. Okrajově je v této práci nastíněn i Duškův poválečný život, který se formoval právě na základě jeho osobních kontaktů a zkušeností z Času a Maffie. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The bachelor thesis Cyrill Dušek 1881-1924. In the magazine Čas and the resistance movement Maffie is a biography based on accessible published sources, literature and particularly the rich and almost unused archival material from the inheritance fund of Cyrill Dušek. The focus of the thesis is to depict Dušek's editorial and public activities in the period before World War I, and during the World War I, which is its principal period of focus. The aim of the thesis is a detailed overview of Cyrill Dušek's work for the resistance movement Maffie and particularly his involvement in the so called button affair (knoflíková aféra), which influenced his further fate in the war. On the margins the thesis also shows Dušek's life after the war, which was influenced by his acquaintances and experience from the magazine Čas and the resistance movement Maffie.
