Korinthida očima Pausánia a současné archeologie

Abstract

Bakalářská práce je analýzou prvních pěti kapitol druhé knihy Pausaniovy Cesty po Řecku. Autorem zaznamenaná fakta jsou analyzována a následně propojena se svými materiálními protějšky v prostředí archeologických výzkumů. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První z nich tvoří katalog reálií, které autor v textu popisuje a vnitřní a vnější kritika Cesty po Řecku. V třetí části jsou prezentovány jednotlivé archeologické výzkumy v regionu, ve kterých byly identifikovány stavby, sochy či jiné památky, které mají na Pausaniovo dílo přímou návaznost. Součástí příloh je kromě katalogu také řada map, které graficky zachycují získané poznatky.

The bachelor's thesis consists of an analysis of the 5 first chapters of the 2nd book of Pausanias' Periegesis. The facts stated by the author are analyzed and then related to their material equivalents in the area of archaeological research. The paper is divided into 3 parts. A catalogue of facts described by the author in the text represents the first part. The second part is constituted by internal and external critique of the Periegeis. The third part presents individual archaeological researches in the region in which structures, statues or another monuments directly related to Pausanias'work were identified. The appendix also contains, besides the catalogue, several maps indicating graphically the findings.
