Divadelní kritiky Ferdinanda Břetislava Mikovce

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze dramatic criticisms of Ferdinand Břetislav Mikovec, to describe his writing style and methods, estetic preferences and the way he asserted the new dramatic programme for the Czech theatre. The aim of this thesis is also, on the basis of his criticisms, to affect the importance of his activity in the area of Prague theatre in the half of the 19th century. The thesis describes demands that Mikovec made on the Czech theatre and puts them into the context of the situation of the Czech theater at that time. The attention is also paid to Mikovec's historical studies and obituaries. Some of his criticisms are cited in the appendix.

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat divadelní kritiky Ferdinanda Břetislava Mikovce, popsat jeho styl psaní a metody, estetické preference a způsob, jakým prosazoval nový divadelní program pro českojazyčné divadlo. Snahou je také na základě těchto kritik postihnout význam jeho činnosti pro pražské divadlo poloviny 19. století. Práce popisuje požadavky, které Mikovec na české divadlo kladl, a zasazuje je do kontextu tehdejšího stavu české scény. Pozornost je věnována také Mikovcovým historickým studiím a nekrologům. Několik jeho kritik je ocitováno v příloze.
