Analýza úrovně finanční gramotnosti seniorů v Karlovarském kraji

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is studying the financial literacy and financial education of eldery adults. The thesis is devided into four chapters. In the first chapter we follow up with the elderhood and aging, current demografic situation in the Czech Republic and it's possible progress in the future. This chapter is also focused on the changes brought by elderhood and social and economic consequences of aging. The second chapter is dedicated to education of older adults, to it's specificities and to selected institutions that provide education to older adults. The third chapter is devoted to the financial literacy. It contains, besides the definition and demarcation of financial literacy, also documents at the international and national level, which deal with those issues and research which dealt with the financial literacy of citizens of the Czech Republic. Furthermore it describes the problems of financial literacy amongst eldery citizens and projects that are dedicated to its support specifically for this group of citizens. Bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční gramotností a finančním vzdělávání seniorů. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole je řešeno stáří a stárnutí, současná demografická situace v České republice i její možný budoucí vývoj. Kapitola je zaměřena také na změny, které přináší stáří a sociální a ekonomické důsledky stárnutí. Druhá kapitola je věnována edukaci seniorů, jejím specifikům a vybraným institucím, které zajišťují vzdělávání seniorů. Třetí kapitola je věnována finanční gramotnosti. Kapitola obsahuje mimo definici a vymezení finanční gramotnosti také dokumenty na mezinárodní i národní úrovni, které se věnují této problematice a výsledky výzkumů, které se zabývaly finanční gramotností občanů České republiky. Dále popisuje problematiku finanční gramotnosti seniorů a projekty, které jsou věnované její podpoře právě u této skupiny občanů. Empirická část je věnována šetření úrovně finanční gramotnosti seniorů v Karlovarském kraji. Cílem práce je analyzovat finanční gramotnost seniorů v Karlovarském kraji a přiblížit možnosti a aspekty vzdělávání seniorů v této oblasti.
